What you need
For this easy BRD farm, you'll need 3 simple things:
- Stealth
- Pickpocket
- Mining (ideally - about 10g/hr less without it)
THAT'S IT! Although it's nice to have Camouflage for some extra speed while stealthed and Prep for an extra vanish - in case of any pickpocket resists.
The plan
The objectives are straight-forward:
- Mine easily accessibly Dark Iron Ore nodes
- Kill fire elementals for Elemental Fire (6-10g on AH) - this is a bonus
- Pickpocket in high density locations
Try not to get distracted from the below route - it makes for an easy, continuous run without any complications. And don't forget to check the vid if you get stuck!
Why this is so reliable
By spreading our focus across mining, pickpocketing and killing elementals we free ourselves of some of the limitations that come along with being focused on a single objective.
We aren't pickpocketing the whole time so we are usually not waiting for vanish to reset after a resist.
We aren't only going for Dark Iron ore so it doesn't matter if an easy node doesn't spawn - and we don't have to risk dying to get a tough one!
Most of all, it's so EASY! It flows quickly and smoothly, and you end up right where you started!
The breakdown
We tested this route and completed 4 runs in an 1hr 6mins. Below is a breakdown of the gold earned.
Admittedly, there will be some variation with the Auction House, but the prices above are up-to-date median prices (as of February 2019) verified across two servers, with the lower median used. If anything, the gold earned here should be an understatement - especially given how awful Run 3 was and the lack of Elemental Fire.
